‘To host His presence - to be His dwelling place’ Overseas mission The church actively supports missionary enterprise and in particular three organisations seeking to continue the ministry of Jesus in "preaching good news to the poor.... proclaiming freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,...releasing the oppressed.....(Luke 4:18) Share Christian Fellowship Share Christian Fellowship is the ministry of church members Pete and Di Game. Pete travels extensively in South America, Africa and India encouraging and supporting pastors and their wives and assisting practically with local development projects. Dan & Sooz Dugmore are full time missionaries in Africa and have seen Gods amazing miracles first-hand. Below is one of their videos with a link to many more. Advantage Africa Advantage Africa is a charity, operating currently mainly in Kenya, supporting the efforts of inspirational Africans to improve the quality of life in their own communities. Advantage Africa seeks to help doubly disadvantaged people - for example those who are very poor and handicapped or suffering from HIV/AIDS. For further information click here. Missionary journeys In recent months church members have made their own missionary journeys to preach the good news of Jesus not just in word but in action by bringing encouragement and support to people who have very little else but hope and their faith. Dave and Julie Smith joined a Mad About Mission party travelling to Mindanao in the Philippines where they spent time as guests of the "Happy Church". They say "being able to be a part of the gods Church on a wider scale rather than being just "in our back yard", being the feet and hands that were able to bless others with what God had given us humble this and we spent a great deal of time in tears. Just to see the gratitude and gratefulness to God from the people receiving what we were able to bring it was amazing….."
